Darjeeling Tour

MONUMENTS

Tiger Hill

Famous for its incredible view of the sunrise over the Kanchenjunga, Tiger Hill is the most tour-touted destination in Darjeeling but that doesn’t make it any less spectacular.

Japanese Peace Pagoda

Showcasing the four avatars of Buddha, the Japanese Peace Pagoda was built by Nipponzan Myohoji’s Buddhist order as a symbol of peace and tranquility; offering great views of the tea-town and Himalayan ranges, here where you can surrender to tranquility.

Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park

Head here and catch an uncommon sighting of nature’s most pace-y feline—the snow leopard besides Siberian tigers, Himalayan black bears and Tibetan wolves. The Snow Leopard Breeding Centre is perfect day-picnic spot for families who’d like to soak up the regions abundant flora and fauna. Keep your eyes peeled for a spotting of the ever-elusive red panda.

Dhirdham Temple

Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Dhirdham Temple is a stunning replica of the Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Batasia Loop

The Batasia Loop, which is a 5km railway loop outside Darjeeling, is a War Memorial for the Gorkha Soldiers who lost their lives during the fight for Indian Independence.
